You have to keep track of symptoms and medicines and fevers and appointments and everything is complicated and everything is constantly changing. You love them so much, so you try to stay on top of it all. But you’re worried, confused, sleep deprived and half the time you're sick too.
You need to make an important decision, like whether a fever is so serious you need to go to the emergency room, but you struggle to remember important details. How long has the fever been this high? The last few days are a blur.
You’re meant to be giving your child a regular dose of medicine, but you can’t remember when they last had it. Did they miss a dose? Did your spouse give it to them?
You take your child to the doctor, but your explanation is a muddled mess. You leave and realise you forgot to tell them something important. Even worse, everything the doctor said sounded so clear at the time, but now you feel like you’ve forgotten something important.
Stay in sync with your spouse or other care givers. Every time they record new information, you'll get a push notification update so you're always communicating and always on the same page.

My name is Chris Nielsen and I live in Perth Australia with my beautiful wife Meg and our three gorgeous kids.
A few years ago we had a flu going through the house and all of our kids had fevers. It was awful. We were trying to manage their symptoms as best we could using paracetamol and ibuprofen. But things got very complicated very quickly. You see, the kids could take paracetamol every 4 hours and ibuprofen every 6 hours. And since they're different ages, each could take a different dose in millilitres of each medicine. And they woke up a different times so they were all out of sync. So... 3 kids with 3 fevers taking 2 medicines at 2 rates with 6 different doses... and then we got sick too... it was exhausting.
So later while the kids were watching Curious George (it's our go to show when the kids are sick), I sat at the dining table and made a tiny little app just to help us keep track of the medicines.
It was amazing.
So that's where the original idea came from. Since then we've carefully redesigned it and rebuilt it from the ground up. We've added countless other features that Meg and I thought of to make our lives easier. At some point, we even added ourselves because it turned out the app was great at keeping track of grownups health too.
Now it's central to how Meg and I work together as a team to look after our wonderful kids when they get sick. It helps us feel peaceful, calm and in control even when everything around us has turned to chaos.
In a small, but very real way, this app has changed our lives. I hope it will help you and your family as well.
